Gary Langton is the CEO & Co-Founder of Quadrant Software, a leading software company specializing in Paperless Process Management (PPM) solutions for Fortune 500 companies.

Since opening its doors in 1990, Gary has built Quadrant Software from a fledgling business operating in a living room with 3 employees to a successful and profitable enterprise with over 90 employees operating in Boston, Tampa, and London.

Gary has amassed over 20 years of high-tech industry experience, beginning his career as a fast-path management trainee and a highly successful new business salesperson at IBM. During his career at IBM, Gary gained a comprehensive understanding of sales, marketing, and the impact of information technology on management processes. He was nationally recognized for his performance in mastering new business sales and won numerous awards for his achievements in New England.

While achieving great success in a big business atmosphere, Gary’s entrepreneurial spirit inspired him to use his understanding of the IBM iSeries 400 computing platform and a gift for finding visionary individuals to found Quadrant Software. With his partner, Peter DePierro, he assembled the team that would engineer what has become the foundation for Quadrant Software's rapid growth: an award-winning PPM suite that sets the standard for the rest of the market. The suite (consisting of electronic forms, fax servers, and email gateways) is built on a unique architecture that has been recognized as "best of breed" by several independent rating organizations, allowing the company to receive the highest level of customer satisfaction ratings for IBM Business Partners.

Gary is a popular speaker on the topics of entrepreneurism, leadership, building a sales force, guerilla marketing, and raising capital. He has received high marks for his enthusiasm, refreshingly candid humor, and down-to-earth advice. He has been a keynote speaker at forums throughout the country and regularly addresses graduating classes, technology professionals, business leaders, and entrepreneurs alike. He has written several articles for industry trade publications including iSeries Magazine and the US and European editions of iSeries News.

Gary is on the board of advisors for several start-up technology corporations, acting as a mentor on the subjects of raising funds, building a management team, managing growth, and dealing with internal and external partners. In addition, he is a board member of the Business Council at Bridgewater State College and Co-Op Advisory Board at UMass Dartmouth. He is regarded as an expert on building a company from the ground up and has helped many entrepreneurs achieve their dream of starting their own company.
