To attain established sales goals relative to product and/or region.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years sales experience

- Working knowledge of sales productivity software
such as ACT or Goldmine

- Understanding of IBM iSeries 400 (preferred) and general computer marketplace
- Thorough understanding of business processes
in medium to large corporations
- Hands-on computer experience
(Microsoft Office, Internet and Database)
- Ability to train
and tutor staff on function and product
- Ability to work
in a team environment
- Capacity to become a mentor

Duties and Responsibilities:
This list is intended to be an outline of expected duties and responsibilities
and may be changed at any time.
- Work in conjunction with sales management to meet established
sales goals.
- Manage all aspects of the sale of the product including
scheduling appointments, demonstrating products, preparing written
quotes, evaluating
and responding to requests for proposals, collecting accounts, handling
complaints, completing all necessary paperwork and performing follow
up activities as necessary.
- Identify, recruit and manage business
partners to identify prospects. Assist business partners in all aspects
of working with prospects
and customers, including product demonstrations, presentations and
proposal generation.
- Follow up on qualified prospects identified by
sales management
- Coordinate sales campaigns as directed by sales management.
- Learn
product features and benefits and effectively communicate them to
clients to successfully generate user interest in product.
- Prepare
monthly and quarterly sales forecast reports.
- Prepare and execute
quarterly territory plans
- Travel to attend local, regional and national
trade shows and professionally represent company at company-sponsored
events.
- Read manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn
new market opportunities and potential prospects for company products.
- Maintain
contact database and update sales staff on specific details.
- Perform
miscellaneous projects and duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to speak, write and understand English, spend long hours
on a telephone, manipulate a computer keyboard, work on a computer
and concentrate and sit for long hours. Some travel will be required.
