Mike Daebler
Vice President of Development

Mike Daebler, Vice President of Development at Quadrant Software, has spent nearly 20 years in the programming and development side of the technology industry. He possesses comprehensive technical capabilities in a variety of computing languages and was instrumental in laying the technical groundwork for what has become a multi-million dollar organization - Quadrant Software.

Mike joined Quadrant Software in 1990 as development manager, becoming the company's fifth employee. He is one of the original architects of the first version of FastFax. Building this feature-rich product from the ground up, Mike has played an instrumental role in formulating the technological leadership that has made Quadrant Software the leader in fax technology today.

Beginning his career in the computer industry as a programmer analyst, Mike quickly gained proficiency in a variety of languages including: COBOL, EasyCoder Assembler, RPGII and C programming. Early on, he began to master the IBM System i (iSeries). His management experience began in 1985 as MIS Manager at MEDTAG.

During his early years with Quadrant Software, Mike oversaw design, development, QA, technical support and shipping. He leveraged his knowledge of the System i (iSeries) both in development and in operation. Under his expert tutelage, Mike's team disassembled printer data streams to fax all generated output from the System i (iSeries), and mastered all the internal components of the system to maximize its potential in the area of fax messaging.

As Quadrant Software continued its pace of rapid growth, Mike recognized the need to separate development and technical support departments and initiated the groundwork for the transition. To recognize both his technical knowledge and his strategic vision, Mike was named Vice President of Quadrant Software in 1996.

Over the past few years Mike has focused his team's attention on PC development, especially in LAN environments. Well versed in all areas of Microsoft Windows and NT, as well as COM/ActiveX, he has expanded the development team with similarly skilled engineers.

Mike Daebler holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from New Hampshire College and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from Bentley College. Mike and his wife Kristine reside in North Attleborough, Massachusetts.
