Quality Assurance is a critical piece in the drive to deliver outstanding
customer satisfaction. By joining our team you become an important player
in helping us meet our goals of product excellence and in being the best
solution in the marketplace. The Mission of the Quality Assurance team is
to "Maximize customer experience, business
continuity, and the associated financial return, by ensuring a high quality
product is introduced to production."
QA applies standardized quality processes and tools to support defect tracking,
testing, and release management. The QA team reduces cycle time to production
and increases quality by identifying defects and concerns during early Software
Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases. We participate in a Metrics
Program that measures the effectiveness of current processes and identify
areas for improvement to increase the reliability and predictability of software
deliverables to our customers.
Quality Assurance at Quadrant Software goes beyond testing, QA is a set
of activities used throughout the SDLC to positively influence and quantify
the quality of the delivered software. These activities start in the later
half of defining the products and continue through Deployment. If you
are interested in helping refine our quality management activities,
and enjoy preventing potential defects by reviewing deliverables from each
phase for testability, clarity, completeness, and continuity with previous
deliverables, this is the place for you.

As Sr QA Engineer, you will be responsible for providing a quality product
through comprehensive testing and product documentation. Your specific
duties will include creating system test plans for product releases,
creation of test scripts, conducting testing, creating test data, logging
defects, and signing off on product quality. You will work closely with
the development organization to understand the product functionality
in order help expand our product certification and test automation processes.
