Quadrant Software has upgraded IntelliChief to release 2.3. IntelliChief is Quadrant Software’s solution for document management, imaging, and workflow. It works in conjunction with FastFax and Formtastic to deliver a complete Paperless Process Management solution for the IBM System I (iSeries 400).
Release 2.3 of IntelliChief builds upon the solid foundation of the previous versions and adds more capabilities to help companies of all sizes process their documents more efficiently. Enhancements included in this release were in great part driven by customer requirements and in the spirit of delivering a paperless solution that is focused on how companies manage their business processes.
Dynamic New WebForms

• This new module for IntelliChief allows the creation of web-based online forms that users can access from any PC and a browser. Purchase Requisitions, Vacation and Time Off Requests, Request for Proposal, and other documents can be created as an HTML page and posted on the company’s intranet or extranet.

Intelligent RubberStamp Designer

• Another use of this web designer client is to create fully customizable electronic rubber stamps. Rubber stamps can also contain “intelligent fields” that calculate values based on the document’s indexes or user-entered data.

New No-programming Integration Templates for Infor XA, Lawson and Infinium

• IntelliChief now offers a streamlined integration method as an addition to the existing integration via IntelliChief’s Middleware, using integration templates that do not require source code changes or extensive programming.

• The new integration module has templates for Infor XA (MAPICS), Lawson and Infor Infinium. Other templates are being designed and will be made available for companies using other ERP applications.

• Improved performance on multi-stage workflow

• Enhancement in IntelliChief’s Middleware for connection with business applications

• Scanning and Document Capture Enhancement
• Improvements in the Document Processing Profile (DPP)

IntelliChief 2.3 is available immediately. IntelliChief customers on previous releases will gain significant advantages when upgrading to the latest 2.3 release.
