Quadrant Software Releases V4.5.1 Of FastFax/Enterprise eFax Server

Quadrant Software announces the immediate availability of FastFax/Enterprise V4.5.1. FastFax/Enterprise optimizes the management of mission-critical faxing across an iSeries enterprise with a heavy investment in Intel-based networks. This new release provides the following key benefits:

  • Added stability allowing FastFax to continue sending and receiving documents even if the mail server is down.
  • FastFax V4.5.1 emails iSeries spool files as attached text, PDF, or TIF files.
  • FastFax adds more native attachment types for transmission by fax or email with added support for Microsoft Word (DOC, RTF, TXT), Microsoft Excel (XLS), Adobe Acrobat (PDF) and Postscript (PS) documents.
  • Load balancing in active or passive clusters

Quadrant Software Joins Infor Certified Partner Program

Big news for our Infor Customers! Quadrant Software has been selected as a Infor Certified Partner. This certification enables the company to provide its suite of Electronic Document Distribution (EDD) solutions to Infor' customers as an integrated extension to the Infor XA ERP for iSeries solution. Infor customers using Quadrant Software solutions will see even more enhancements and features added to an already powerful and seamless integration with the Infor XA ERP.

iMessaging Withdraws Support for RFSfax Servers Agrees to Migrate Customers to Quadrant Software

iMessaging Systems, a provider of automated customer service solutions for the iSeries 400, will discontinue support for RFSfax (the company's legacy fax server for the iSeries 400). Additionally, iMessaging, in an exclusive agreement with Quadrant Software, has agreed to facilitate the migration of current RFSfax customers to Quadrant Software's FastFax Family of Products. This switch means that current RFSfax customers will retain all of their current faxing capabilities in addition to gaining a wide-range of cost and time saving features available in FastFax backed by a 24-hour world-class support team.

Is there some way that I can directly attach files to an outgoing fax or email without going through the process of converting everything to TIF or PCX? It would be a real time-saver if I can.
