New Processing Options in FastFax Extractor

No problem, Alice! We have a fix for you.

We realize that in some cases our customers may not have access to source code or a programmer. So, starting with FastFax/Enterprise Version 4.5 we created a new feature within FastFax Extractor that enables the user to create and run the Extractor Template as usual, except that this new option creates a spool file with all of the necessary API commands. Even better, there's no programming required to take advantage of this option.

Once you have the new spool file with API commands, you can merge it with Formtastic Fusion5 or any other forms package that integrates with FastFax.

Here's exactly how you go about accomplishing this:

1. Create your FastFax Extractor template as usual.
2. Tab over to the DEFAULTS option.
3. On the DEFAULTS options menu, select Option 5 titled PROCESSING OPTIONS.
4. Select *FORMTASTIC or *SCSSPLF to create a spool file with the correct API commands.
5. Hit ENTER, then exit and save your template.

That's all you need to do. This spool file can now be merged with a forms applications like Formtastic with all the required API commands.
