Quickly Find Old Faxes Using a "Unique Identifier"

This is both easy and very useful. FastFax has the functionality flag all inbound faxes with a unique identifier. This unique identifier will print on the fax and gets displayed on the 'Work With Inbound Faxes' screen within FastFax.

To set this up, simply edit two registry settings on the FastFax processor. Here's the process:

1. Double click on the FFXREGISTRY icon on the desktop. (see screenshot below)

2. Click the EDIT button and scroll down to the keys named "InboundMessage#Remarks" and "InboundMessage#OnPrint".

3. Change both of these key values from ‘0’ to ‘1’.

4. Press "Apply Changes" button.

5. Press the "Exit" button.

How simple is that? All inbound faxes will now print the unique identifier onto the fax and in the "Remarks" column on the "Work with Inbound Faxes" screen (see screenshots below), making it easy to find old faxes with just a hardcopy on hand.
