Quadrant Software Partners with Integrated Data Systems, Inc. (IDSI)

TAUNTON, MA (November 2005) -- Quadrant Software, the leading developer of Paperless Process Management (PPM) solutions for creating, managing, archiving, and delivering iSeries business documents and content, today announced its partnership with Integrated Data Systems, Inc. (IDSI), a leading developer of automated data collection (ADC) solutions for numerous business applications.

This partnership allows the two companies' mutual customers to track and report inventory, production, shipping, and related transactions via bar-code/radio frequency identification (RFID) using IDSI's automated data collection solutions (CaptureSystem^2® and OrbSoft^®) with Quadrant Software's Formtastic electronic forms and labeling solutions as well as their FastFax enterprise fax / email servers.

Formtastic's recent V5.3.1 release includes the ability to produce RFID labels and now integrates directly with IDSI's CaptureSystem^2®. Using these solutions together, CaptureSystem^2® will create an RFID label using a Formtastic label template. Once that label is applied to an inventory item and begins to move through CaptureSystem^2®'s supported data collection transactions, it can be customized to trigger the automatic delivery of specific business documents (also designed and generated with Formtastic) via print, fax, or email using FastFax.

Who gets these documents and how they receive them can be customized based on a Formtastic and FastFax's built in logical conditioning commands. FastFax and Formtastic also integrates with electronic signature collection devices, allowing customers to automate, track, and provide real-time accounting at every step of the supply chain.
