Quadrant Software Announces the Release of Fastfax/Enterprise 4.8

Mansfield, MA (October 13, 2010) – Quadrant Software, the leading provider of Electronic Document Distribution (EDD) solutions for the IBM i (iSeries) and Windows enterprise announces the immediate availability of FastFax version 4.8.
FastFax, an advanced software/hardware system, allows inbound and outbound fax activity to be managed from any green screen terminal or desktop PC, giving full access to fax broadcasting, batch faxing, application integration, activity monitoring, priority scheduling, least-cost routing, administrative management and end user capability from any authorized client.
Version 4.8 presents a variety of product enhancements that include:
FastFax Processor – New Model 5 and High Availability-3 FastFax Processors with Windows 7 and Windows2008 Server Operating Systems.
FastFax Email Gateways – Allows for Exchange Gateway support on Exchange 2010, Exchange and Domino Gateway support for Windows 2008 and connecting to Google Mail (GMAIL).
iSeries Enhancements – Support for IBM i Operating System V7R1.
FastFax customers on previous releases will gain significant advantages when upgrading to the latest 4.8 release. The upgrade is free for customers currently enrolled in the maintenance program.
